Tarea 11/17-11/19

11/17- Share thoughts about La Voz (response prompts below), interest in volunteering, and discuss in general what it means to speak Spanish in California.  Read through Lucas story and make it past tense, preterite.
TAREA- rewrite Lucas story (using the model posted) in the past tense, adding your own ending in the past tense! (when necessary- but of course, it is YOUR ending, maybe you need future tense.)
    - Continue with QUIA.  Make sure you do all the activities on there, including the QUIZZES.
    - Study reflexive, clothes articles and past tense.  Finish workbook Chapters 2& 3 if you haven't already.
    - For those of you who are volunteering, I want to hear from your parents/ guardians one way or another.  Have them contact me stating their consent.  This can either be a letter you bring to class, by phone:(909) 992-9745 or email: amalisa@grav.k12.ca.us.
Thursday I will have a letter to go home for parents to sign explaining certain rules and procedures.   You need to have this signed on Saturday morning in order to participate.
    - For those of you who are NOT able to volunteer, please write me an email (above address) explaining your situation so that we can come up with an alternate plan that is appropriate.  Do not wait to do this. If you know you cannot go, email me right away.
-If you didn't write a response for La Voz, consider these points.  One full page please.
Write a response to the paper's philosophy, how it addresses the issue of being bicultural in Sonoma County.  How about latino issues in general in the United States?  In CA? In Sonoma County? What are they? How do they affect you?  What resources are available?  What opportunities are there to engage, alleviate some problems or concerns that you might see?

¡GRACIAS!
